Investing in Our Students
As part of my commitment to improving education and community development, I led the rehabilitation of Santa Rita Assemblies of God School, ensuring that students and teachers have a safe, comfortable, and inspiring learning environment. The project involved repairs and upgrades to classrooms, roofing, and other essential school facilities. The goal was to provide students with better learning conditions and to support teachers in delivering quality education. The estimated cost of this project was $50,000 BZD, including labour, which was financed by patrons, the business community and the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing.
This project reflects my dedication to investing in our schools and our children’s future. A strong education system is key to building a better Corozal Bay, and I remain committed to ensuring that every child has access to quality education in a safe and supportive environment.
As a community, we are making real change happen—because there’s no place like home.
